Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her portrayals as the main character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Her film roles include Private Parts, Deep Impact True Crime, and 1408. McCormack was the child of a medical psychotherapist and also the proprietor of an ice cream business. McCormack comes from a non-entertainment background. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of her parents in 1990 followed by a trip to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut which she eventually completed with a BA degree in the field of comparative arts. The actress began her professional career at the age of 12 when she performed in the stage production , 'Amahl and The Night Visitors' a Christmas operetta. She performed in theatre, and eventually landed roles on the smaller screen as well as on the big. In the present, McCormack is recognized as one of the most diverse performers in Hollywood. McCormack has been married to producer and director Michael Morris and has three children.
