The film also won two other awards, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was another film that she was in. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in the BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. The actress later played a significant part in the film Fury in which she played a German woman named Irma aunt of Emma.
