Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with questions of racial identity and sexual orientation. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents within Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was in the form of the trumpet. Following her Jazz and classical training She delved into hip-hop as a teen. Following a focus on education, she was awarded the degree of journalist in the college as well as a women's studies degree. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet before settling on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album also featured popular hits, including the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. The track that was published is directly linked to the album The Awkwafinas Guide to NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. In addition to having published a book as well, she also worked singing. Alongside early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released In Fina We Trust.
